1. Kourtney Was In A Soap Opera
It was brief and you might have missed Kourtney’s appearance if you blinked. She played a role as attorney Kassandra Kavanaugh on ABC’s One Life To Live in March 2011. It was a quick guest appearance that received negative feedback from critics—she didn’t let it get to her, though.
2. She’s Been Named In A Lawsuit
That’s right: In March of 2012, Kourtney and two of her sisters were taken to court in a $5 million lawsuit due to their work with QuickTrim. Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian were accused of deceptive marketing in a suit brought forward by plaintiffs from several states. The lawsuit was dismissed when a settlement was reached.
3. She’s The First Kardashian Kid That Made It Through College
Kourtney received a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arizona. Before attending UArizona, she studied at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She graduated in May 2002 with a theater degree and minor in Spanish. She was actually the first of her siblings to graduate from college!
4. She Owned A Children’s Store
Kourtney went into business with her mother, forming a partnership when they opened Smooch. The Los Angeles-based children’s clothing stores have since closed all of their locations. They were known for carrying the brand name Crib Rock Couture.
She now owns a boutique called D-A-S-H with Kim and Khloé.
5. She Gave Birth On Television
Scott Disick was the father of Kourtney’s first child, Mason Dash Disick. Mason was born on the 14th of December in 2009 and his birth was recorded as part of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He was delivered by Paul Crane, a Beverly Hills doctor. The procedure aired during the reality show’s fourth season.
6. She Spends Money a lot of money On Books, Too
You might think that she shops mostly for Louboutins and designer handbags, but Kourtney Kardashian is actually a bit of a bookworm.
Her favorite non-fiction books include What To Expect The First Year and The Prayer of Jabez; in fiction, she loves Twilight, My Fair Lady, Pretty Woman, Clueless, and The Notebook.
7. She Obsessed Over a Serial Killer
When she was in high school, Kourtney Kardashian was obsessed with infamous serial killer Charles Manson. Her friends shared the same fascination, and they watched every documentary about the cult leader that they could get their hands on. Well, every american has watched a Charles Manson documentary, at least one, but Kourtney seems to be the last person you would think would waste time watching documentaries about Charles Manson.
She now knows more about Charles Manson than the average Kardashian sibling!
